Art Deco Napier
"Napier represents the most complete and significant group of Art Deco buildings in the World" says Dr Neil Cossons, Past President of the British Museums Association. Discover Art Deco! There are two free guided tours each day at 10am and 2pm. You can also explore the fascinating townscape with the help of self-guided tour maps by car or on foot. And, The Master's Lodge offers private tours for discerning travellers to meet their schedules and particular interests. 

Wineries & Vineyards
Hawke's Bay's reputation for Fine Wines has grown both nationally and internationally since 1995. Our wines are now regularly winning international awards in the UK, US France and Australia. Wine maps are available for self-guided tours. But, let our private guides take you on a 'voyage of discovery' into the Hawke's Bay wine region. We can arrange full day or half-day tours by private car with a truly knowledgeable guide. You will have the chance to personally meet winemakers and estate owners and see "behind the scenes" life at the Wineries - away from the crowded, public tasting rooms. The tours can be combined with a relaxing alfresco lunch at one of the top winery restaurants, or with a pcinic hamper lovingly prepared by The Masters Lodge.   

Cape Kidnappers Gannet Sanctuary
Cape Kidnappers is a 2,000-hecture peninsula serving as a wildlife preserve, especially for one of the few remaining Gannet Colonies in the World! Informative tours are available daily, by foot, tractor, or mini-van. The Master's Lodge also offers private tours with expert guides, which can include helicopter access to the peninsula. 

Golf, Golf & More Golf
You will be spoilt for choice! There are Five Championship Golf Courses within the immediate area: Napier, Hastings, Hawkes Bay, Maraenui, and the Cape Kidnappers Golf Course which has received so much press recently! And, there are the "field" courses for those adventurous golfers that want to play through private grazing fields and search out hidden holes! Golf clubs and carts can be hired. 

Fishing
Take a break and join one of the best local fishing guides in pursuit of trout in gin clear sterams or larger game in the South Pacific Ocean. You name the means of transport: car, jetboat, helicopter. All equipment provided. 

Gardens and Parks
Garden lovers take note! Hawke's Bay is a floral feast - Parks and Gardens abound!  The specially created Hawke's Bay Garden Directory showcases the most beautiful gardens in our district, many of which offer private tours and afternoon tea. The Master's Lodge can arrange a full day or half day of quiet adventure in the most discreet gardens in the region. 

Hot Air Ballooning
High flyers will have the time of their life by enjoying Hawke's Bay from 400m above sea level. A morning flight might be just the way to spend a few breath-taking moments together! 

Spa Therapy & Massage
Let us spoil you and nourish your soul! Our special arrangement with Ocean Spa allows our guests exclusive access to this private spa for beauty treatments, saunas, sports massages and workout facilities as well as seven heated outdoors pools. Located just at the base of Bluff Hill and directly on the Ocean, nothing could be more relaxing or luxurious! Except, we do offer the services of our own masseuse for private massages in our Solarium or in the privacy of your Suite!
